Welcome to Beta Upsilon, the University of Florida Chapter of Delta Omega, the Honorary Society in Public Health. The chapter is housed within the College of Public Health and Health Professions and was established in November of 2009.

Established in 2003, the Public Health Student Association (PHSA) is the primary student organization for graduate public health students at the University of Florida! The mission of the Southern HIV and Alcohol Research Consortium (SHARC) is to improve health outcomes and reduce HIV transmission among the diverse range of populations affected by alcohol and HIV infection in Florida. To fulfill this mission, SHARC will foster interdisciplinary translational research, training and community engagement.
The Emerging Pathogens Institute was created in 2006 to provide a world-class research environment to facilitate interdisciplinary studies of emergence and control of human, animal and plant pathogens of concern to Florida, to the nation and to the world.
